Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years general manager experience for external candidates
  • 6 months Pei Wei senior or assistant manager experience for internal candidates
  • certification in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations
  • ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects up to 30 lbs
  • ability to stand and walk for eight to ten hours per shift
  • strong sales building competency

Job Qualifications

  • certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations

  • experience with sales growth strategies
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
  • proficient in scheduling and labor cost control
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • capable of delivering results in key performance metrics

Job Duties

  • Ensures operational excellence of his/her designated restaurant
  • takes ownership of guest relations and customer satisfaction outcomes
  • implements, cascades, and sustains company initiatives and goals
  • increases sales and operating profit through local marketing and internal opportunities
  • certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations and can perform duties daily
  • fosters a safe, respectful, and quality employee experience
  • supervises, assigns, and delegates tasks appropriately
  • recruits, hires, and trains a full team
  • provides on-going leadership and development to management staff
  • acts as a goodwill ambassador to the community
  • uses performance management tools for employee appraisals
  • ensures compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines
  • manages repairs and maintenance
  • handles administrative tasks including hiring, payroll, and cash handling
  • performs regular line checks for quality standards
  • completes prep lists and order guides
  • manages cost and food inventories
  • obtains and maintains a safe food handler permit
