Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year customer service experience
- ability to work variable shifts including weekends as needed
- proficiency in typing at least 30 words per minute with minimal errors
- knowledge or experience in medical reception preferred
- ability to handle patient billing and insurance inquiries
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to collaborate within a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- completion of a medical receptionist or equivalent training program preferred
- at least 1 year of customer service experience
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- experience in a medical or hospital setting preferred
- strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Provide patients with appointments, information, and operational support services
- register patients and update demographic and insurance information
- confirm insurance eligibility and obtain service authorizations
- resolve billing and insurance-related issues with patients
- answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
- schedule appointments following provider guidelines and update patient information
- maintain departmental supplies and support daily operational flow
