Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year customer service experience
  • ability to work variable shifts including weekends as needed
  • proficiency in typing at least 30 words per minute with minimal errors
  • knowledge or experience in medical reception preferred
  • ability to handle patient billing and insurance inquiries
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to collaborate within a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • completion of a medical receptionist or equivalent training program preferred
  • at least 1 year of customer service experience
  • knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • experience in a medical or hospital setting preferred
  • strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Provide patients with appointments, information, and operational support services
  • register patients and update demographic and insurance information
  • confirm insurance eligibility and obtain service authorizations
  • resolve billing and insurance-related issues with patients
  • answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
  • schedule appointments following provider guidelines and update patient information
  • maintain departmental supplies and support daily operational flow
