Job Requirements
- Desire to enter the healthcare field to care for others
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable with blood and needles
- Comfortable mixing acid or bicarbonate
- Ability to work long hours on feet
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to train and work at multiple clinic locations
- Healthcare experience or certifications preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior dialysis experience required
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to mix acid or bicarbonate solutions
- Physical and mental stamina to work long shifts, including 12-hour shifts
- Willingness to work across multiple clinics
- Healthcare experience or certifications such as BONENT, Certified Hemodialysis Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Phlebotomy certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Provide direct one-on-one patient care during dialysis treatment
- Monitor patients for vital signs and observations before, during, and after dialysis
- Set up and operate hemodialysis machines
- Maintain patient hygiene and comfort throughout treatment
- Educate patients on kidney dialysis topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional healthcare team including nurses, dietitians, and social workers
- Follow safety protocols when handling blood and needles
