Job Requirements

  • Desire to enter the healthcare field to care for others
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable with blood and needles
  • Comfortable mixing acid or bicarbonate
  • Ability to work long hours on feet
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to train and work at multiple clinic locations
  • Healthcare experience or certifications preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No prior dialysis experience required
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to mix acid or bicarbonate solutions
  • Physical and mental stamina to work long shifts, including 12-hour shifts
  • Willingness to work across multiple clinics
  • Healthcare experience or certifications such as BONENT, Certified Hemodialysis Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Phlebotomy certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Provide direct one-on-one patient care during dialysis treatment
  • Monitor patients for vital signs and observations before, during, and after dialysis
  • Set up and operate hemodialysis machines
  • Maintain patient hygiene and comfort throughout treatment
  • Educate patients on kidney dialysis topics
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional healthcare team including nurses, dietitians, and social workers
  • Follow safety protocols when handling blood and needles
