Job Requirements

  • Desire, drive, and compassion to provide exceptional patient and family experience
  • High school diploma or active high school/GED enrollment or one year of previous job experience
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Act 31 Mandated Reporter Training within 90 days of hire or transfer
  • Compliance with Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI clearance with renewal
  • Willingness to work part-time night shifts in Emergency Department

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or active enrollment in high school/GED program
  • One year of previous job experience in lieu of diploma/GED accepted
  • Previous experience in healthcare or customer service preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered mindset

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and families warmly and provide destination coordination
  • Clean and maintain assigned areas including patient rooms and public spaces
  • Assemble and serve meals according to dietary requirements while maintaining food safety standards
  • Transport patients, equipment, and specimens between units and designated areas safely and timely
  • Retrieve, set up, and clean telehealth carts for patient appointments
  • Order, stock, and manage supplies and equipment on patient units
  • Respond to unit phones, assist with call lights, interact with patients, and perform hourly rounding
