Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent or active high school/GED program enrollment or one year previous job experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Desire to provide exceptional patient and family experience
- Ability to work full-time evening shifts
- Willingness to perform physical tasks such as cleaning and patient transportation
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Adherence to infection control protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or active enrollment in high school/GED program or one year previous job experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Previous healthcare or customer service experience is a plus
- Compassion and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with hospital policies and patient privacy regulations
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Greet patients and families warmly and provide verbal directions and escort assistance
- Disseminate patient information to visitors while respecting confidentiality
- Assist with parking cashier functions and patient scooter issuance
- Clean and organize assigned patient and public areas following established procedures
- Assemble and serve meals according to patient dietary orders
- Transport patients and equipment safely between designated hospital locations
- Retrieve, set up, and maintain telehealth carts for patient appointments
- Order, organize, and deliver supplies and equipment
- Answer unit phones and respond to call lights
- Round hourly to ensure all responsibilities are met satisfactorily
- Follow all infection control procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
