Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred
  • Certification in food safety
  • Ability to follow recipes and baking instructions accurately
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment and required uniforms
  • Adherence to company safety and sanitation policies

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in baking or a related field
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety protocols
  • Certification in food safety
  • Basic math skills for measuring and counting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing
  • Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment and wear uniforms as required

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstation with required baking supplies and equipment
  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
  • Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Employ kitchen tools safely including knives during food preparation
  • Implement proper storage practices in accordance with food safety policies
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after completing tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor
  • Follow Aramark safety policies emphasizing food safety and sanitation
  • Maintain the security of company assets by adhering to safety measures
