Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred
- Certification in food safety
- Ability to follow recipes and baking instructions accurately
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment and required uniforms
- Adherence to company safety and sanitation policies
Job Qualifications
- Experience in baking or a related field
- Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety protocols
- Certification in food safety
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing
- Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment and wear uniforms as required
Job Duties
- Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Set up workstation with required baking supplies and equipment
- Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
- Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Employ kitchen tools safely including knives during food preparation
- Implement proper storage practices in accordance with food safety policies
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after completing tasks
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor
- Follow Aramark safety policies emphasizing food safety and sanitation
- Maintain the security of company assets by adhering to safety measures
