Job Requirements

  • Education high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years related baking experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work safely with kitchen equipment
  • Good personal hygiene practices
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Job Qualifications

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to follow recipes and quality standards
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare breads and pastries including doughs, fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating
  • Review production sheet to understand daily baked goods variety
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, presentation standards, and prep checklists
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety compliance
  • Communicate excess food items to Chef for specials planning
  • Use baking and measuring tools and equipment safely
  • Follow food safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures
