Job Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a pastry or bakery environment preferred
- at least 3 years of progressive experience in pastry arts or culinary graduate with at least 1 year of progressive pastry experience
- pastry arts or baking certification preferred
- food handlers certification complying with state requirements
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to evaluate and implement creative pastry techniques
- ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
- initiative to anticipate pastry needs and adapt
- friendly service-oriented demeanor
- maintain regular attendance
- maintain professional appearance including uniform and nametag
- comply with hospitality standards and safety regulations
- familiar with emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Open the pastry kitchen
- supervise and assist in the preparation of all baked goods and desserts for various outlets
- ensure completion of food and station preparations before service
- maintain high standards of efficiency, productivity, and quality
- supervise food preparation for banquets and employee cafeteria
- ensure compliance with standard recipes and food safety regulations
- maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas
