Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in a pastry kitchen
- Positive energy and team player mindset
- Ability to speak, read, and understand basic baking and cooking directions
- Effective communication skills
- Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand, walk constantly, and occasionally stoop, kneel, push, pull or lift
- Adherence to all DHEC regulations for cleanliness and food safety
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of one year experience in a pastry kitchen, preparing and cooking
- Positive energy and readiness to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
- Ability to speak, read and understand basic baking and cooking directions
- Effective communication skills with managers, employees, and guests
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare all dessert and baked good items on the menu using our Standard Recipe Card for preparation of all products
- Adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures and perform other related duties as assigned by the Pastry Chef or manager-on-duty
- Complete a Daily Prep List and Closing Checklist for each shift for assigned duties while maintaining a clean and sanitary work station, adhering to all DHEC regulations
- Promptly report all product shortages, equipment problems or food quality issues to Pastry Chef or Executive Chef
