Job Requirements
- Experience in baking or a related role
- Knowledge of baking techniques and health and safety compliance
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Basic math and counting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to follow uniform and PPE guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Experience in baking or a related role is preferred
- Solid grasp of baking techniques, standards, and compliance with health and safety guidelines
- Certification required for acquiring certification in food safety
- Fundamental math and counting competencies
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication proficiencies, effectively conveying messages through written and verbal mediums
- Physical abilities including capability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- Ability to adhere to uniform guidelines and utilize personal protective equipment
Job Duties
- Produce a range of baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Get your workspace prepared with all the necessary baking tools and ingredients
- Prepare the ingredients through measuring, weighing, blending, dicing, and other relevant procedures
- Operate baking tools such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
- Adhere to safety precautions when using utensils, like knives, for food preparation tasks
- Adhere to guidelines for the safe storage of food products
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Prioritize exceptional customer service and project a positive attitude when dealing with guests, clients, customers, coworkers, and other individuals
- Comply with Aramark safety guidelines, which highlight the significance of proper food safety and sanitation protocols
- Uphold the protection of organizational resources by following prescribed security protocols
