Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Four-year college degree or equivalent education or experience
- Manager allergens certification
- Manager food safety certification
- Minimum two-years food service or related work experience
- Advanced knowledge of principles and practices within the food profession
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry items up to 70 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stand continuously for extended hours
- Ability to move regularly around the kitchen and communicate effectively with staff
- Ability to work in temperature ranges from -10 degrees to over 100 degrees inside the kitchen
Job Qualifications

- Advanced knowledge of principles and practices within the food profession, including management of people and complex problems in food and beverage management
Job Duties
- Manage the daily production, preparation and presentation of all food for the hotel's restaurants and room service to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage human resources in the production and preparation areas including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, developing, coaching, counseling, performance and salary reviews, discipline and termination
- Schedule and manage maintenance and sanitation of kitchen, equipment and related areas to ensure a safe, healthy work environment in compliance with standards
- Monitor, analyze and control labor and food costs, prepare relevant reports and schedules to meet budgets while maintaining or improving quality
- Promote the accident prevention program to minimize liabilities and related expenses
