Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a successful pastry chef
- 3+ years of experience in a pastry kitchen handling preparation and cooking
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative with a problem-solving approach
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, sanitation principles, baking techniques, and nutrition
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Craft dessert menus aligned with restaurant concept and locale while collaborating with Executive Chef
- Prepare detailed recipe cards to ensure consistency among pastry cooks
- Motivate, teach, and maintain a positive culture within the pastry team
- Communicate openly with other chefs and incorporate feedback to refine recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all workstations and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Report product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues to the Executive Chef promptly
- Participate in employee meetings, contributing suggestions for improvement
- Prioritize guest experience in all pastry operations
