Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a pastry kitchen
- Proven track record as a Pastry Chef
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving approach
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, baking techniques and nutrition
- Availability to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays

- Strong attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Experience working in a pastry kitchen with preparation and cooking duties
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Craft a dessert menu fitting with the restaurant concept and locale
- Partner with the Executive Chef to align dessert offerings with the main menu
- Prepare detailed recipe cards and ensure the team adheres to them
- Motivate, teach, and maintain a positive culture among pastry cooks
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstations complying with DHEC regulations
- Report product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues promptly
- Participate in employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
- Ensure the guest experience is the top priority in all tasks
