Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a pastry kitchen
  • Proven track record as a Pastry Chef
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving approach
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, baking techniques and nutrition
  • Availability to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays

  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, sanitation principles, baking techniques and nutrition
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • Experience working in a pastry kitchen with preparation and cooking duties
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Craft a dessert menu fitting with the restaurant concept and locale
  • Partner with the Executive Chef to align dessert offerings with the main menu
  • Prepare detailed recipe cards and ensure the team adheres to them
  • Motivate, teach, and maintain a positive culture among pastry cooks
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstations complying with DHEC regulations
  • Report product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues promptly
  • Participate in employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
  • Ensure the guest experience is the top priority in all tasks
