Job Requirements

  • Certified in food service sanitation as mandated by the state of Wisconsin
  • Understanding of or ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety
  • Ability to work efficiently and quickly
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
  • Ability to maintain personal cleanliness
  • Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Help exec chef create new menus ones for effectiveness and that meet quality standards
  • Work closely with executive chef and corporate executive chef
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain current and accurate recipes
  • Conduct daily pastry line checks at location working that day
  • Work with chefs to manage personnel in an effective manner that meets quality service
  • Help chefs educate the FOH and BOH staff about new recipes and menu items
  • Report daily ordering needs to chefs
  • Help with other duties throughout the kitchen
  • Preform reviews and coaching to pastry cooks
