Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent culinary education preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in pastry chef roles, preferably in luxury or high-volume environments
  • Proven leadership skills with team management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative dessert programs
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Japanese language skills not required

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a pastry chef in American style pastry
  • Strong classical pastry foundation with modern creativity
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
  • Experience managing high-volume pastry operations
  • Strong financial and operational management skills

Job Duties

  • Lead all pastry and bakery operations across fine dining, a la carte, banquets, and specialty outlets
  • Develop seasonally driven, luxury-level dessert programs
  • Oversee bread, laminated dough, chocolate, and plated dessert execution
  • Implement strong systems for quality control, consistency, and cost management
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing pastry team
  • Manage budgeting, labor, and inventory with financial discipline
