Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent culinary education preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in pastry chef roles, preferably in luxury or high-volume environments
- Proven leadership skills with team management experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop innovative dessert programs
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Japanese language skills not required
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a pastry chef in American style pastry
- Strong classical pastry foundation with modern creativity
- Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
- Experience managing high-volume pastry operations
- Strong financial and operational management skills
Job Duties
- Lead all pastry and bakery operations across fine dining, a la carte, banquets, and specialty outlets
- Develop seasonally driven, luxury-level dessert programs
- Oversee bread, laminated dough, chocolate, and plated dessert execution
- Implement strong systems for quality control, consistency, and cost management
- Mentor and lead a high-performing pastry team
- Manage budgeting, labor, and inventory with financial discipline
