Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in baking or pastry arts
- Food safety certification required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, and prolonged standing
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Commitment to adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a baker or in a similar role
- Knowledge of baking procedures, criteria, and sanitation regulations
- Food safety certification
- Proficiency in basic math operations and numerical counting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage physical tasks like lifting, bending, and prolonged walking or standing
- Familiarity with the use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Job Duties
- Create baked goods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Arrange work area with essential ingredients and tools
- Prepare ingredients through quantifying, weighing, blending, and chopping
- Handle baking instruments such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
- Use utensils safely and effectively during meal preparation
- Observe food safety protocols for proper storage of goods
- Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils
- Uphold positive attitude and deliver exceptional customer service
- Implement safety procedures and adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure security of corporate resources by following established protocols
