Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Four years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
- Or two-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related field
- Two years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related area
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work full-time
- Must adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in managing budgets and inventory
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major
- 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage budgets and inventory
- Experience in staff training and development
- Customer service oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Lead pastry culinary team utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to encourage and influence others
- Advocate sound financial and business decision making
- Supervise and manage employees and day-to-day operations
- Ensure employees understand expectations and maintain productivity levels
- Prepare and execute pastry and food items per specifications
- Maintain food preparation handling, storage, and purchasing standards
- Enforce sanitation, food safety, and compliance with policies and legal regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and enhance guest satisfaction
- Train and develop staff including performance coaching
- Manage budgets, purchases, and inventories according to goals
- Assist in interviewing and hiring team members
- Participate in meetings and maintain open communication within the team
- Support disciplinary procedures and peer review process
