Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
  • Or two-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related field
  • Two years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related area
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to work full-time
  • Must adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in managing budgets and inventory
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major
  • 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage budgets and inventory
  • Experience in staff training and development
  • Customer service oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Lead pastry culinary team utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to encourage and influence others
  • Advocate sound financial and business decision making
  • Supervise and manage employees and day-to-day operations
  • Ensure employees understand expectations and maintain productivity levels
  • Prepare and execute pastry and food items per specifications
  • Maintain food preparation handling, storage, and purchasing standards
  • Enforce sanitation, food safety, and compliance with policies and legal regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and enhance guest satisfaction
  • Train and develop staff including performance coaching
  • Manage budgets, purchases, and inventories according to goals
  • Assist in interviewing and hiring team members
  • Participate in meetings and maintain open communication within the team
  • Support disciplinary procedures and peer review process
