Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 4 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years relevant professional experience
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team
  • Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work full time at Wailea Beach Resort, Maui, Hawaii

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years of culinary or related experience
  • OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Creativity in pastry preparation and decoration
  • Experience in inventory and budgeting management

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise pastry culinary team
  • Manage day-to-day pastry operations
  • Train and develop team members
  • Maintain food quality, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Create new pastry designs and presentations
  • Monitor inventory and control costs
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction
