Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading
- Experience with delivery or logistics preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend safety rules and operating instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to complete pre-trip inspections and perform basic vehicle maintenance
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely
Job Qualifications

- Ability to perform vehicle maintenance and inspections

Job Duties
- Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors
- Check with parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control, parts counter, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate last-minute pick-ups or deliveries
- Unload and process cores returned to the dealership
- Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up
- Secure all loads to ensure safe delivery
- Verify that invoices and packing slips match products and quantities being delivered and received
- Coordinate delivery route with all parts employees
- Efficiently perform daily delivery routes to minimize delivery time
- Pull and fill customer orders generated by parts counter and outside sales
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Check payments received with invoices for each delivery
- Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups
- Request recipient's signature on each delivery entry
- Unload truck each night
- Turn in all paperwork, payments, returned or undelivered parts
- Handle basic truck maintenance including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections
- Complete pre-trip inspections and notify parts manager of needed repairs or maintenance
- Help maintain professional appearance of parts department
- Assist service and sales departments with driver or technician transportation
- Assist warehouse staff with processing inbound and outbound orders
- Help with stocking and posting orders to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts
- Maintain professional appearance
- Perform other tasks as assigned
