Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to work flexible part-time hours including some Saturdays

  • Basic computer skills and comfort working with point-of-sale systems
  • Previous cashier or service department experience a plus
  • Reliable and punctual, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle cash and reconcile daily transactions accurately
  • Must be able to work flexible hours within department operating times

Job Duties

  • Accurately calculate and finalize customer bills using the dealership computer system
  • Process payments by cash, check, and credit card while following dealership payment procedures
  • Issue receipts, make change, and maintain accuracy in cash handling
  • Verify daily totals and reconcile cash drawer with receipts
  • Direct customers with additional questions or concerns to the appropriate service staff member
  • Coordinate vehicle pickup with service porters and advisors
  • Maintain customer satisfaction levels as set by the Service Manager
