Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Proficiency with POS systems preferred
  • Ability to work part-time hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to present a professional appearance and wear required uniform and footwear

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a customer service or food and beverage role preferred
  • Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Positive attitude and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service

Job Duties

  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all restaurant guests according to company standards
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction and profit maximization
  • Answer guest questions regarding menu items, describe ingredients and preparation of each dish, and make knowledgeable suggestions
  • Communicate effectively in the English language, both in writing and verbally
  • Add, subtract, multiply and divide to accurately handle money, give correct change, balance till, and prepare cash drops
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Point of Sale (Micros preferred) computer system or similar
  • Serve alcohol responsibly
  • Adapt to constantly changing situations and personalities ensuring quality service to all guests by maintaining a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor
  • Establish and maintain a positive professional relationship with co-workers to ensure efficient food and beverage service and overall guest satisfaction
  • Present a professional appearance, wear appropriate uniform, and slip resistant footwear according to the standards of the position and company policy
