Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Proficiency with POS systems preferred
- Ability to work part-time hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to present a professional appearance and wear required uniform and footwear
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a customer service or food and beverage role preferred
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service
Job Duties
- Provide prompt and courteous service to all restaurant guests according to company standards
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction and profit maximization
- Answer guest questions regarding menu items, describe ingredients and preparation of each dish, and make knowledgeable suggestions
- Communicate effectively in the English language, both in writing and verbally
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide to accurately handle money, give correct change, balance till, and prepare cash drops
- Demonstrate proficiency with Point of Sale (Micros preferred) computer system or similar
- Serve alcohol responsibly
- Adapt to constantly changing situations and personalities ensuring quality service to all guests by maintaining a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor
- Establish and maintain a positive professional relationship with co-workers to ensure efficient food and beverage service and overall guest satisfaction
- Present a professional appearance, wear appropriate uniform, and slip resistant footwear according to the standards of the position and company policy
