Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in office administration or receptionist role preferred
  • able to work Monday through Friday morning hours
  • dependable and self-motivated
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • excellent attention to detail
  • reliable personal transportation
  • ability to maintain client confidential information
  • positive attitude and professionalism
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming calls for a 12-person office
  • greet visitors to the office including clients and vendors
  • manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • keep common areas including conference rooms, kitchen, and lobby in a condition that is welcoming to visitors and staff
  • assist attorneys and paralegals with daily tasks and special projects as requested
  • assist in maintaining office and attorney calendars by scheduling meetings, conferences, depositions, travel, court appearances, etc., as requested
  • proofread and correct prepared materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, format and content
