Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
willingness to complete required company training
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
ability to work in varying temperature environments
basic math skills
good hearing and vision including color and depth perception
ability to communicate in English
ability to handle physical demands of the role
knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
one to three months of related experience or training
equivalent combination of education and experience
culinary experience
strong customer service skills
ability to read and write simple correspondence in English
good interpersonal skills
knowledge of cooking terminology and food safety practices
ability to use kitchen tools and equipment
ability to follow written and oral instructions

Job Duties

Prepare fresh food products according to Fresh Foods Standards
process and package food items accurately
stock shelves and maintain product displays
provide excellent customer service
clean and sanitize work areas
unload and stock inventory shipments
reload salvage products in compliance with Fresh Foods Standards
