Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • mathematical skills including basic calculations
  • basic knowledge of computer and keyboarding skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite products
  • ability to work with detailed information and maintain strict confidentiality
  • must have or be able to pass Food Handlers course 30 days after hire and maintain the card

Job Duties

  • assist the kitchen manager to ensure a quality, nutritious, cost-effective meal program is available daily to students and staff
  • perform food preparation and serving duties
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
  • follow health and safety regulations including food handling procedures
  • monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • support team members and communicate effectively with staff and students
