Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree
  • two years of professional experience in hospitality or related field
  • or associate degree with six years of professional experience
  • knowledge of wine or the wine industry preferred
  • experience teaching at the college level is advantageous
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to engage and motivate students

Job Duties

  • instruct hospitality courses and curriculum to students
  • develop and update course materials to reflect current industry trends
  • assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • participate in department meetings and collaborate with faculty on program development
  • maintain accurate student records and comply with college policies
  • incorporate knowledge of wine and the wine industry into instruction when applicable
  • support student learning through personalized guidance and mentoring
