Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree
- two years of professional experience in hospitality or related field
- or associate degree with six years of professional experience
- knowledge of wine or the wine industry preferred
- experience teaching at the college level is advantageous
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to engage and motivate students
Job Duties
- instruct hospitality courses and curriculum to students
- develop and update course materials to reflect current industry trends
- assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
- participate in department meetings and collaborate with faculty on program development
- maintain accurate student records and comply with college policies
- incorporate knowledge of wine and the wine industry into instruction when applicable
- support student learning through personalized guidance and mentoring
