Job Requirements

Must be at least sixteen years of age
high school diploma or GED equivalent or in process of attaining
ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
capability to safely pull, push, lift and carry items up to 80 pounds
ability to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
willingness to work before, during, or after emergencies or disasters
position designated safety and/or security sensitive

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent or in process of attaining
knowledge of city policies and procedures
understanding of fundamentals of the game of golf and golf course operations
knowledge of city safety rules and regulations, occupational hazards and safety precautions
skill in safe and efficient operation and maintenance of tools and equipment
skill in dealing tactfully and courteously with the general public
effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Duties

Operates and maintains golf carts including charging batteries, washing and detailing in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures
assists in maintaining golf course grounds including storing equipment, locking gates, picking practice areas, and cleaning cart barn
recognizes, avoids, and reports unsafe acts, conditions, accidents, and injuries
provides courteous and effective customer service to golf course patrons
performs other duties as assigned or required
