Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, located at 13541 Stoney Creek Road, San Diego, CA, is a vibrant faith community dedicated to serving its parishioners through spiritual guidance, community activities, and outreach programs. Job Requirements

At least one year experience in janitorial and maintenance related field
knowledge of routine facility cleaning requirements
capacity to identify and handle maintenance issues
discretion and confidentiality
familiarity with cleaning chemicals and their proper handling, usage, and disposal
effective communication skills
physical ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor including lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

knowledge of parish operations
effective communication skills
ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
discretion and confidentiality
ability to perform general facility set ups
understanding of routine facility cleaning requirements

Job Duties

Open the church and facilities and make campus ready for weekend use
perform set-ups according to the church facilities calendar
clean and prepare the campus including hall, discipleship center, offices, church and church grounds for faith formation and other parish activities as needed
clean and restock all bathrooms in the hall, discipleship center, and church
perform light cleaning of hall, discipleship center, offices, church, and church grounds including carpets and floors as needed
empty trashcans and recycling throughout the campus when closing down for the night
lock and secure the entire campus each evening on shift
