Job Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of state and federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers
  • Availability to work every other weekend
  • Ability to work shifts primarily from 1 PM-7 PM and occasionally 11 AM-7 PM

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of state and federal food-handling regulations
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS mission and operating philosophies
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively
  • Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious, and palatable meals consistent with regulations and policies
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal food-handling regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas
  • Collaborate with team members to provide a positive dining experience for residents
  • Monitor food inventory and report needs for replenishment
  • Adapt meal preparation to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment
