Job Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education
- Knowledge of state and federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers
- Availability to work every other weekend
- Ability to work shifts primarily from 1 PM-7 PM and occasionally 11 AM-7 PM
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Knowledge of state and federal food-handling regulations
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS mission and operating philosophies
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious, and palatable meals consistent with regulations and policies
- Ensure compliance with state and federal food-handling regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas
- Collaborate with team members to provide a positive dining experience for residents
- Monitor food inventory and report needs for replenishment
- Adapt meal preparation to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences
- Assist in maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment
