Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- must hold a valid Class A or Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement
- valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one
- able to pass company MVR screen
- ability to obtain sales-related licenses or registration if required
- ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid Class A or Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement
- valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one
- ability to pass MVR screen
- able to comply with DOT and CDL regulations
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- basic arithmetic skills
- customer service experience preferred
- forklift or Moffett operation experience preferred
- experience driving semi-trucks or trailers preferred
Job Duties
- Provides SMART customer service at all times
- seeks out customers to understand needs and assists with merchandise
- listens and responds knowledgeably to customer questions
- demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers
- communicates information regarding stock, special orders, and warranties
- plans delivery activities and loads trucks
- inspects products before delivery
- ensures loads are within DOT regulations
- updates delivery status for tracking
- unloads and installs appliances
- verifies vehicle inspections and reports
- completes DOT reporting for compliance
- detects signs of theft and communicates to management
- maintains store cleanliness and safety
- operates store equipment as needed
- performs other duties as assigned
