Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Willingness to participate in required training
- Reliable and punctual with good attendance
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and perform multiple tasks
- Ability to maintain personal grooming and dress according to company policy
- Compliance with all company standards, policies, and safety regulations
- Physical ability to perform essential job functions
- Strong interpersonal skills and ethical work behavior
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to three months related experience or training preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Completion of company training programs including food sanitation and safety
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by fulfilling their needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to fresh foods standards
- Provide customer service including answering questions, assisting customers with product locations, and following up on requests
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure sanitation standards are upheld
- Unload stock from trucks, reload salvage products, and stock shelves efficiently
- Prepare baked goods, meats, and other food items according to company recipes and standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and associates, including over the phone, and assist with sales and marketing promotions
