Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary field with a focus on high volume production
  • Culinary education degree or equivalent experience if less than 2 years experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Adept at troubleshooting and managing difficult situations calmly
  • Passion for culinary and guest delight
  • Proven ability to work with recipes
  • Understanding of knife usage
  • Positive, friendly, and helpful attitude
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Passion and enthusiasm for kitchen work
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Food Safety Certification or equivalent
  • Ability to work with kitchen technology
  • Must be flexible and able to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Job Qualifications

  • Passion for culinary arts and guest satisfaction
  • Proven ability to create, read, and understand recipes
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Food Safety Certification or equivalent
  • Ability to work with culinary technology systems
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
  • Basic wine knowledge preferred
  • Vocation school training or high school certification
  • Culinary education degree, certification from CIA or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food service
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Manage inventory and assist in ingredient preparation
  • Troubleshoot kitchen issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide excellent guest service and contribute to service recovery when needed
