Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or USA equivalency
  • Six months of work related experience
  • Demonstrated completion of or enrollment in a state-approved security-training course
  • Demonstrated ability to observe and report unusual activities or incidents
  • Ability to direct traffic in and out of the parking lot
  • Ability to provide directions to various locations for school functions

Job Duties

  • Patrol assigned parking lot to monitor cars and contents and ensure that only authorized persons are on the lot
  • Ensure vehicles do not exceed parking lot time limitations
  • Direct traffic in and out of the parking lot
  • Provide directions to various locations for school functions
  • Register student vehicles and maintain accurate records of registration
  • Drive campus officers to and from assigned areas
  • Report any suspicious acts to supervisor
  • Write reports of any unusual activities or incidents
  • Follow assigned work schedule
  • Attend all scheduled meetings called by supervisors
  • Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned
