The Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD) is a public school district headquartered at 9400 North Central Expressway, Dallas, Texas 75231. Established on July 21, 1884, it has grown to become the second-largest school district in Texas and the seventeenth-largest in the United States.
Serving a diverse student population, Dallas ISD encompasses 242 campuses, including 147 elementary schools, 35 middle schools, 38 high schools, and 10 multi-level schools.
