Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalent
- advanced cardiac life support certification (ACLS) - RQI resuscitation quality improvement
- basic life support - CPR certification (BLS) - RQI resuscitation quality improvement
- driver’s license (DL) - EV accredited issuing body
- licensed paramedic (PARA) - EV accredited issuing body
- national incident management system FEMA training (NIMS) - EV accredited issuing body

Job Duties
- Assist higher-trained personnel in providing effective care
- deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, bystanders, and other response agency personnel
- support community service and relationship functions as requested by leadership
- maintain a safe and effective work environment by adhering to infection control standards
- communicate effectively with healthcare team members and other emergency responders
- ensure the ambulance is clean, stocked, and ready for use at all times
- follow established policies, procedures, guidelines, medical protocols, and safety standards
