Job Requirements

  • high school graduate or equivalent
  • advanced cardiac life support certification (ACLS) - RQI resuscitation quality improvement
  • basic life support - CPR certification (BLS) - RQI resuscitation quality improvement
  • driver’s license (DL) - EV accredited issuing body
  • licensed paramedic (PARA) - EV accredited issuing body
  • national incident management system FEMA training (NIMS) - EV accredited issuing body

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist higher-trained personnel in providing effective care
  • deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, bystanders, and other response agency personnel
  • support community service and relationship functions as requested by leadership
  • maintain a safe and effective work environment by adhering to infection control standards
  • communicate effectively with healthcare team members and other emergency responders
  • ensure the ambulance is clean, stocked, and ready for use at all times
  • follow established policies, procedures, guidelines, medical protocols, and safety standards
