Job Requirements

  • minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • certified paramedic with nys doh and nyc remac credentials
  • valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • current acl s, pals, and bcls certifications from aha
  • ability to lift and transport patients safely
  • willingness to work in all weather conditions and varied shifts
  • strong ethical standards and confidentiality adherence

Job Duties

  • assess patients for signs of illness or injury
  • provide advanced prehospital care and stabilization
  • ensure safe, monitored transport to medical facilities
  • manage accident scenes and coordinate with emergency services
  • document patient care accurately
  • operate and prepare ambulances and equipment
  • maintain certifications and attend mandatory training
