Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and move for up to four hours
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat frequently
- Effective communication and listening skills
- Ability to distinguish flavors, spices, temperatures, and odors
- Must work in hot and cold environments
- Authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to perform measurement conversions
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work within a team
- Successful completion of restaurant training program
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Minimum one year experience in kitchen environment preferred
Job Duties
- Report to work on time and maintain restaurant uniform
- Prepare vegetables for salads and assemble salads and desserts
- Complete station closing duties and assist in kitchen cleanliness
- Maintain sanitation and food safety standards
- Foster team-oriented communication and promote high service standards
- Rotate and restock pantry items and supplies
- Communicate with broiler and side cooks to ensure timely food preparation
- Check stock levels and prep food according to recipes
- Adhere to safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions
