Job Requirements
- Must possess a valid commercial Class B Drivers License
- Must have Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements
- Must have a current medical card
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous commercial driving experience or accredited commercial driving school graduate
- Minimum of one year road experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have an excellent driving record with no moving violations for three years
- Ability to push 200 plus pound cylinders and lift 50 plus pound containers
- Ability to read and write English and perform simple math
- Ability to handle receipts, read maps and road signs
- Ability to maintain records of duty status
- Ability to perform basic administrative functions and problem solving
- Flexibility with work hours
- Capable of prolonged sitting and some bending, stooping and climbing
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions
Job Qualifications

- Preferred previous experience in the cylinder gas specialty chemical industry
Job Duties
- Transport cylinders to assigned internal and external customers in a timely and safety conscious manner
- Stay within all posted speed limits and comply with all DOT and company safety policies and procedures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle and maintain the vehicle in a clean and proper condition
- Legibly complete driver log and trip reports on a daily basis
- Accurately record cylinders and hard-goods transactions on customer delivery tickets and trip reports
- Maintain good communications with supervisor and management especially safety and customer matters
- Operate and drive forklift truck as required for loading and unloading of product
- Set tone for employees by good example through observation of the company’s loss prevention policies and procedures
- Report accidents including near misses, unsafe acts or conditions and obey safety rules
- Use effective time management tools to follow through on work commitments and scheduled deadlines
- Participate as an active member of the local safety committee when assigned
- Fill cryogenic liquid dewars
- Provide first line technical support
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned
