Job Requirements
- must be 21 years or older
- valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities including bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and stretching
- availability to work 2-4 days per week including at least one weekend day
- capacity to operate delivery vans for 75-125 miles daily
- comfort working in all weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind
- ability to complete daily safety inspections and adhere to telematics monitoring
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license
- excellent driving record with safe driving habits
- ability to lift and handle packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- strong physical stamina to walk 8-12 miles and climb multiple flights of stairs daily
- effective communication and customer service skills
- ability to follow safety protocols and company policies
- reliable and punctual with the ability to work scheduled shifts
- basic knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance
Job Duties
- conduct daily pre-trip inspections on delivery vehicles
- safely drive high-roof cargo vans adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- load and unload 300-400 packages efficiently for assigned delivery routes
- deliver packages to over 200 addresses per day including residential homes and apartment complexes
- maintain excellent customer service by positively interacting with recipients
- navigate delivery routes accurately using provided technology
- report any vehicle or delivery issues to supervisors promptly
