Job Requirements

  • ability to function within a team environment as a supportive and positive contributor
  • ability to adhere to all safety requirements including covid-19 procedures
  • clerical skills including good telephone techniques
  • excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • basic office equipment knowledge including computer skills
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • enjoy working with children
  • spanish is required for some locations

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in dental or medical front office preferred
  • strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • proficiency with computer and basic office equipment
  • ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
  • customer service experience
  • knowledge of electronic health records and medical billing is a plus
  • ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Job Duties

  • greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • manage appointment scheduling and rescheduling efficiently
  • answer and direct phone calls with excellent telephone etiquette
  • maintain patient records and electronic health records accurately
  • coordinate communication between patients, dental staff, and management
  • process insurance information and assist with billing inquiries
  • provide exceptional customer service to all patients and visitors
