Job Requirements
- Own a CDL-A tractor trailer or CDL-B box truck
- Minimum one year full truck driving experience
- Pass background check
- Pass driving test
- Complete DOT required drug and physical tests
- No DUI or DWI within the last 5 years
- Provide two qualified helpers for delivery support
- Relocate to Richmond, VA
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A or CDL-B license
- Minimum one year of commercial truck driving experience
- Proven ability to operate owner-operator business
- Experience with furniture delivery and assembly preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use dispatch technology
- Compliance with DOT drug and physical requirements
Job Duties
- Deliver furniture to customers and businesses in Richmond, VA
- Handle loading, unloading, and assembly of furniture
- Use dispatch app to manage delivery routes and assignments
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and company representatives
- Ensure customer satisfaction through professional service and setup
- Maintain compliance with safety and DOT regulations
- Work day shift hours with a local delivery schedule
