Job Requirements
- Valid Class B license
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT medical card
- Minimum 3 years experience with 26 foot box truck
- Passed 7 year FADV review in Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Experience in pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
- Knowledge of DOT compliance requirements
- Ability to push/pull heavy carts up to 200 lbs
- Can-do attitude and strong customer focus
- Proven employment longevity
Job Qualifications
- Class B license with clean driving record
- Valid DOT medical card
- Minimum 3 years experience operating a 26 foot box truck
- Passing 7 year FADV review in Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Experience with vehicle inspections
- Knowledge of DOT compliance, logging hours and roadside inspections
- Strong customer service skills
- Proven employment longevity
- Touch freight experience
Job Duties
- Operate 26 ft box truck safely in the Baton Rouge area
- Collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations
- Deliver medical waste containers and provide high level of customer service
- Load, unload and organize truck and warehouse shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Comply with DOT regulations including logging hours and roadside inspections
- Push and pull carts weighing up to 200 lbs
