Job Requirements
- Must have a professional, warm, and approachable disposition
- fluently read, write, and speak English
- demonstrated ability to remain level-headed in hectic and tense situations
- ability to complete tasks accurately and on time while working alone with little to no direct supervision
- availability to work overnight shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- excellent communication skills
- prior experience in hotel front desk or customer service preferred
- ability to handle cash and perform accounting tasks
- proficiency with hotel property management systems
- strong problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Job Duties
- Post, report, and balance the daily transactions and payments of the hotel’s lodging operation and the other various outlets of the hotel for end-of-day reporting
- perform the required end of day routines on the applicable hotel systems
- attend to guest registration, room assignments, and special requests
- take, modify, and update room reservations
- accurately record and process guest charges, credits, and payments
- assist and respond to all guest inquiries in person, phone, or email as appropriate
- deliver the brand and company promises
