Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality or guest services preferred
- knowledge of local community and amenities
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to assist physically with luggage
- aptitude for multitasking and working under pressure
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

- ability to handle physical tasks including lifting luggage
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic understanding of safety and security procedures
Job Duties
- Greet all guests upon arrival
- assist guests with luggage promptly when checking in and checking out
- hail taxicabs and answer inquiries
- take luggage to the curb to meet transportation
- sign for lost luggage from airlines and deliver to guest rooms
- assist guest with general information when concierge is not available
- assist valet staff during busy times and cover breaks
- keep bell closet clean and organized
- polish and clean bell carts daily
- submit lost and found articles with reports
- assist guests into automobiles or taxicabs
- function as valet parking attendant and doorperson as needed
- check and secure guests' luggage until departure
- direct guests to meeting rooms
- prevent unauthorized persons from entering
- notify guests of deliveries and visitor arrivals
- promote hotel functions and facilities
- inform guests about storage, restaurant hours, vending machines, concierge events, health club information, and emergency procedures
