Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check clearance
- Clean drug test
- Clean clearinghouse results
- Physically capable of lifting heavy tarps
- Ability to work extended periods on the road
- Willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license
- Minimum of 4 months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- Ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform
- Knowledge of flatbed load securing techniques
- Familiarity with OTR routes
- Strong communication skills
Job Duties
- Operate flatbed tractor trailers to transport goods safely
- Secure loads using appropriate industry techniques including tarping
- Adhere to all federal and state transportation regulations
- Perform vehicle inspections and ensure maintenance standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Manage delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with hours of service regulations
