Job Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- Minimum nine months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- No DWIs in the past five years
- No more than three moving violations in the past three years
- Pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screens
- No preventable DOT-reportable accidents in the past three years
- No NYC or Canada driving routes
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum of nine months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record with no DWIs in the last five years
- No more than three moving violations in the past three years
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and human performance evaluation
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices and likely technology platforms like Drive Axle or Transflo
- Strong commitment to safe driving practices and customer service
Job Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer over long distances according to scheduled routes and delivery timelines
- Ensure freight safety by adhering to company policies and DOT regulations
- Perform truck and trailer inspections, and report maintenance needs promptly
- Manage electronic logging devices and paperwork using advanced mobile technologies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues
- Utilize prepass systems for weigh station bypass and manage toll payments efficiently
- Uphold Barr-Nunn Transportations exceptional safety standards and pursue safety bonus programs
