Job Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 9 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- No DWIs in the past 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Pass pre-employment DOT physical
- Pass drug screening
- Pass human performance evaluation
- No preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past 3 years
- Willingness to park truck at company terminals when required
- No routes through New York City or Canada
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 9 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record with no DWIs in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug screening, and human performance evaluation
- Knowledge of CSA safety standards and compliance
- Experience with electronic logging devices and freight management apps
Job Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer to transport dry van truckloads safely and efficiently
- Adhere to federal and company safety regulations for all freight handling
- Manage routes with scheduled runs of 21 days on the road and 7 days home
- Utilize electronic tools for load management and payroll processing
- Maintain communication with dispatch and company talent specialists
- Ensure proper parking of truck at authorized terminals for travel reimbursements
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
