Job Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- nine months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- no DWIs in the past seven years
- no more than three moving violations in the past three years
- successful completion of pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and human performance evaluation
- no preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past three years
- no travel to NYC or Canada
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- minimum of 9 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- clean driving record with no DWI in the past 7 years
- fewer than 4 moving violations in the past 3 years
- ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and human performance evaluation
- experience with no-touch freight preferred
- HAZMAT endorsement is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer units over long distances to transport freight safely and efficiently
- adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations
- maintain accurate logs of driving hours and inspections
- communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- utilize technology for load management and payroll review
- ensure proper handling of placarded HAZMAT freight when applicable
