Job Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A
  • nine months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
  • no DWIs in the past seven years
  • no more than three moving violations in the past three years
  • successful completion of pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and human performance evaluation
  • no preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past three years
  • no travel to NYC or Canada

Job Qualifications

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • minimum of 9 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
  • clean driving record with no DWI in the past 7 years
  • fewer than 4 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and human performance evaluation
  • experience with no-touch freight preferred
  • HAZMAT endorsement is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Operate tractor-trailer units over long distances to transport freight safely and efficiently
  • adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations
  • maintain accurate logs of driving hours and inspections
  • communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
  • perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • utilize technology for load management and payroll review
  • ensure proper handling of placarded HAZMAT freight when applicable
