Job Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- Minimum 12 months tractor-trailer driving experience
- No DWIs in the past 7 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Pass pre-employment DOT physical
- Pass drug screen and human performance evaluation
- No preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past 3 years
- No operation in NYC or Canada
- Park truck at designated terminals for flight home or arrange proper fuel reimbursement
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 12 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record with no DWIs in the past 7 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and human performance evaluation
- Proven safe driving history with no preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past 3 years
- Experience with dry van truckload freight preferred
- HAZMAT endorsement is a plus but not mandatory
Job Duties
- Operate commercial tractor-trailer to transport dry van freight over long distances
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while on the road
- Manage delivery schedules ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries
- Maintain communication with dispatch and logistics staff
- Complete electronic paperwork and logs accurately using provided technologies
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Utilize company-provided equipment and amenities to maintain comfort and efficiency during routes
