Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and assist in lifting heavier objects up to 100 pounds
- Ability to operate trucks, tractors, mowers, and utility vehicles
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Successful completion of background screening
- Willingness to provide excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in customer service and cash handling
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic and Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment including lawn mowers and chainsaws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and assist with heavier loads
Job Duties
- Greet visitors and provide information about park activities and facilities
- Collect and reconcile park entrance and annual pass fees
- Operate point-of-sale cash registers and credit card terminals
- Maintain cleanliness of park facilities, restrooms, grounds, and equipment
- Assist with resource management tasks including prescribed fire and exotic plant control
- Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment such as trucks, tractors, mowers, chainsaws, and blowers
- Prepare reports and communicate effectively with park staff
