Job Requirements
- Completion of ninth grade
- Ability to work early morning hours from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM Monday through Friday
- Flexibility to work overtime and adjust schedules as needed
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
- Willingness to undergo a post-offer health assessment
- Ability to complete Facilities Services training and compliance programs
- Must adhere to the university's policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Two years of commercial custodial experience
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Good physical condition for manual custodial work
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and compliance training
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain all halls, offices, shops, classrooms, restrooms, conference rooms, labs, gym areas, locker rooms, elevators by sweeping, dusting, dust-mopping, wet mopping, spot-mopping, reconditioning floors and spot washing walls, doors, and partitions
- Clean and maintain all floors and floor coverings including vacuuming, shampooing, striping, sealing and waxing
- Clean all entrances, entrance walks, steps, patios, and concourses
- Spot clean and clean all exterior and interior glass surfaces of assigned buildings
- Clean ceiling lights and Venetian blinds
- Empty and clean all waste cans, trashcans, recycle bins, water fountains and doormats
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Adhere to Facilities Services Standard Operating Procedures and policies
